An accomplished community banker, David shaped his more than 30-year career working with two of the most successful community banking organizations in Chicago.  Most recently, in his decade with Wintrust Financial Corporation, David held multiple positions, including Regional Market Head/EVP with responsibility for three community banks with assets exceeding $6 billion.  He also had oversight of the Special Assets division and managed eight failed bank acquisition portfolios.  Prior to Wintrust, Dave worked in progressive roles leading up to Chief Credit Officer of Park National Bank with assets of $5 billion.  Additionally, he was credit trained at American National Bank

David has broad financial services expertise with concentrations in commercial credit, special assets, core business development and acquisitions.  He served on four community bank boards and multiple not-for-profit boards and has an extensive history of community service.  David has a passion for developing talent and was a leadership instructor in the Wintrust Academy.  

David provides advisory services in the following areas:  Board advisory and strategic planning, Commercial-CRE credit, troubled assets and M&A advisory-due diligence. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Chicago.
