With nearly three decades of leadership in the banking industry, Jane Leis is a veteran financial executive and compliance specialist who brings a wealth of experience to Artisan Advisors and its clients. Deeply rooted in community banking, Jane was most recently the CEO of Union State Bank in Wisconsin. Throughout her impressive tenure, Jane was instrumental in Union State Bank’s growth and stability, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing financial operations, integrating new technologies into banking services, and leading her team of banking professionals. 

Jane’s expertise spans corporate finance, asset management, regulatory oversight, and human resources, where she led initiatives to refine operations, enhance risk management, and foster a dynamic workplace culture. As a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Jane meticulously developed policies and procedures to maintain FDIC compliance, facilitated audit committee and board meetings, and managed shareholder relations. 

Jane completed advanced training at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with specialized programs through the Wisconsin Bankers Association in compliance, commercial lending, and residential mortgage operations. 

Jane is also well-versed in loan and deposit documentation software and counsels clients on how to optimize bank performance and ensure operational integrity.
